A 10-year-old boy, Namish, the son of Additional Superintendent of Police Shweta Shrivastava, met a tragic fate when he was fatally crushed by a speeding SUV while practising skating in the serene streets of the upscale Gomti Nagar Extension area.
The incident unfolded around 5:30 am on Tuesday, as young Namish was engrossed in his morning routine of skating near a local park. In a gut-wrenching turn of events, a white SUV hurtled past, striking the innocent child before speeding away callously. Despite immediate efforts to rush Namish to a hospital, the impact of the accident proved fatal, leading to the untimely demise of the promising young soul.
