Distinctive Design Upgrades

The Tata Safari facelift presents a distinguished exterior that sets it apart. Differentiating itself from its 5-seater sibling, the Harrier, the Safari boasts:

– A larger upper grille, adding an imposing presence.
– A faux skid plate finished in silver, enhancing the rugged feel.
– A bumper with a bigger headlamp housing, complete with a full-width LED light bar, which also acts as daytime running lamps (DRLs).

In profile, the Safari retains its robust stance, with the addition of new alloy wheel designs. The rear sees a fresh interpretation, with new tail-lamps and a redesigned bumper housing reflectors and reverse lights.

Luxurious Interior and Feature-rich Cabin

The interior of the Tata Safari facelift reflects sophistication and modernity. Key features include:

– A thoughtfully designed dashboard with a choice of two touchscreen sizes: 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch.
– A touch-based panel for HVAC controls in the center console.
– A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
– A new four-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata Motors logo.
– An innovative drive selector for automatic variants.
– Dual-zone climate control.
– Ventilated first and second-row seats for enhanced comfort.
– A high-quality 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system.
– Panoramic sunroof.
– Safety features, including multiple airbags, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), hill hold control, and three-point seat belts with reminders for all passengers.

Power and Performance Unchanged

Under the hood, the Tata Safari facelift retains its powerful 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170hp and 350Nm of torque. This engine is available with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The automatic gearbox becomes available from the Adventure+ variant onward. The Safari continues to offer three terrain response modes – Normal, Rough, and Wet – and three driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport) to adapt to various driving conditions.

A Splash of Colors and Rugged Options

The Tata Safari facelift is available in a range of captivating colors: Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, Lunar Slate, Stardust Ash, Stellar Frost, and Supernova Copper. The Oberon Black color option is exclusively offered for the Dark edition variants. Just like the Nexon and Nexon EV, each trim comes with its unique exterior and interior color options.

Rivals and Market Standing

The Tata Safari facelift is set to continue its rivalry with competitors like the MG Hector Plus, the 7-seat Mahindra XUV700, Scorpio N, and Hyundai Alcazar.

With its compelling pricing, stunning design updates, rich feature set, and commitment to safety, the Tata Safari facelift further strengthens Tata Motors’ position in the Indian automotive sector and aligns perfectly with their mission of reducing road accidents and promoting safer cars in India. This refined SUV is a testament to Tata Motors’ dedication to delivering excellence in the SUV segment.
