MG ( Morris Garages) has launch the  MG Windsor EV car on 11 September. It has go on sale in Indian market from 11 September. This car name has comes from UK, and launched by Chinese-owned brand. It is determined that the Windsor EV gets an SUV-like silhouette.

Dimensions

MG Windsor EV is expected to measure 4,295 mm in length and, making it a shorter model than MG ZS EV. It is available in ZS EV in width ( 1850mm) and height ( 1652mm). Its wheelbase is longer than ZS EV, that is of 2585mm size.

Cabin & features

MG will not leave the featureless crossover inside. The MG Windsor EV is equipped with a 9.9-inch instrument cluster and 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It includes 6 speakers, a wireless phone charger, a powered boot lid, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, 360-degree parking camera, and L2 ADAS. The Windsor put the lot of crossovers to shame in terms of space. Its teasers has give you glimpse of reclining rear bench and refers to ‘ sofa mode’. So, the front seats of this car become power-adjustable, and chairs are wrapped in Italian bubble-style

Safety features of MG Windsor EV include electronic stability control, four airbags, and disc brakes on four wheels. It also has adaptive cruise control and ADAS ( advanced driver assistance systems), lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, etc.

The Windsor EV is expected to carry the battery used in cloud, that is 50.6kwh. It uses the LFP cells ( Lithium ferro phosphate). Its range is expected to reach tp 460 kms. It has the ability to charge up to 100% percent with the regular AC charger and takes over 7 hours. Its DC fast charger brings 80% in only 30 minutes. The MG Windsor EV is powered by a single electric motor driving the front wheels and gives 134 bhp performance. It delivers 200 Nm of torque, which makes it less powerful than the ZS EV.

In India, the MG Windsor EV price is expected to range between the Comet and ZS EV in terms of pricing. It is launch with price up to 9.99 lakh. It is the ability to compete with the Tata Nexon EV, that remains the best-selling electric passenger vehicle in India.
