Sources reveal that the Creta EV will have a 45kWh battery pack supplied by LG Chem, which will provide adequate power through a single motor on the front axle. With around 138hp of power and 255Nm of torque, the Creta EV is set to be a strong competitor in the electric SUV segment, which is expected to debut around the same time as Maruti’s eVX and MG ZS EV.
