Maruti Suzuki’s much-anticipated fourth-generation Swift has recently been unveiled, promising an array of upgrades in both design and performance. With new dimensions and fuel efficiency details revealed, the revamped Swift is set to offer a blend of enhanced aesthetics and advanced technology.

Design Modifications and Dimensions

The new-gen Swift boasts subtle but noteworthy changes in its design. Despite minimal alterations in interior space, the upcoming model is marginally longer at 3,860 mm and slimmer at 1,695 mm, while standing slightly shorter at 1,500 mm. These dimensions hint at a more optimized utilization of available space within the car. Moreover, a revamped interior theme is anticipated, promising an improved sense of spaciousness.

Mileage Details and Engine Specifications

Powering the fourth-gen Swift will be a revamped 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Z12E engine, available in both hybrid and non-hybrid variants. While the international market is expected to witness an engine generating approximately 100 bhp and 150 Nm, the Indian model might maintain output numbers similar to the current variant, producing 89 PS and 113 Nm. Notably, the new Swift promises impressive fuel efficiency, offering a best-in-class mileage of up to 23.40 km/l for the non-hybrid version and an astounding 24.50 km/l for the hybrid variant.

Distinctive Features and Upgrades

The revamped Swift showcases carefully curated design enhancements, maintaining its iconic silhouette while adding a touch of sportiness and youthful vigor. The front fascia boasts refreshed lighting elements, a new grille, and a sleek bumper, while the rear features updated tail lights, tailgate, and bumper design. Inside, expect a revamped dashboard, center AC vents, and an auto climate control panel, complemented by a new 9-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

Anticipated Changes in India-Specific Model

For the India-specific model, the transmission choices remain the same as the current variant, continuing with both manual and AMT options. While the exact equipment upgrades and features are yet to be fully disclosed, the upcoming Swift is expected to undergo further enhancements, setting new benchmarks in its segment.

Conclusion

With the unveiling of the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift, the anticipation for an amalgamation of advanced technology, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced design elements has reached its peak. The subtle yet impactful modifications signal an evolution in the Swift’s lineage, promising a heightened driving experience and a seamless blend of style and performance. As more details emerge, enthusiasts await the official launch with bated breath, expecting the new Swift to raise the bar in the compact car segment.
